EDITOR’S NOTE: I wrote this post last March, and then with everything going on in the world it sort of got lost in the ether. So, as a warm-up to my (hopefully) much more timely 2020 albums of the year, I present my very belated 2019 albums of the year. I listened to 459 albums released in 2019, and these are the best of the best. It’s fun to see how many of these are still in my heavy rotation, even a year later.
