As we rapidly approach the mid-way point of 2018, I have been looking back over the new albums I’ve listened to this year and decided to throw together a blog post. According to my own (very unscientific) tracking I have listened to 134 albums released this year so far. Of those 130+, there are 43 that I really enjoyed (scientifically marked in my notebook with a + symbol). From that 43, 21 have been marked with an additional plus (++) indicating to myself that I will probably want to return to them when compiling my albums of the year.
